Hi All! My name is Chelsea, and welcome to my running and fitness blog, To 26.2 and Beyond! I’m a 20-something living in Connecticut, and over the last year I’ve developed a huge passion for running. I ran a little bit before, like short jogs around my neighborhood or on the treadmill at the gym. A little over a year ago a very good friend of mine encouraged me to try running more, and helped me learn proper form.
The more I ran, the more I loved it. I ran my first 5k in October 2012, and have been racing ever since. I’m literally never not training for something. I’m running two half marathons in early spring, and a full marathon in the fall. My long term goal is to run an ultra in the next 5 years (before I turn 30).
I’ll be checking in a few times a week with workout updates, training ideas, recipes, the works. I hope you enjoy it!
